Will this tide you over?

Wow, it's pretty obvious that my posts have been lacking recently... All I can do is apologise and offer some lame arse excuses though... So here they are!

1. Sorry, but I'm still sorta hoping that someone might decide to publish the review I've done on the Excellence Riviera Cancun, so I don't really want to blow that by publishing it myself on the blog first...

To keep you happy though, here's a few photos!

2. Sorry, but I really haven't been anywhere recently to review... I've driven through a few small towns, and yes I did grab some snaps on the way through and I do propose to post those too, it just hasn't happened yet!

3. Sorry, but I'm trying to get some of my diploma done, so I can eventually actually call myself a Travel Journalist... However I probably still won't feel comfortable doing that until I've been paid for doing it!!

4. Sorry, but work is really hectic at the moment! Really hectic!

5. Sorry, but we are actually planning two holidays. I'm not going to say where, incase they don't happen. Because people tend to ask you how your holiday was, and there's nothing worse then having to tell people you never got there...

Ok, surely that's enough excuses as to why my poor little blog has been neglected? I will come back and start posting regularly again, I promise. I think I just need a bit of an arsenal of back reviews to get me going. Does anyone want to fund that expedition?!?

Excellence Riviera Cancun - Footage

Here is some footage I took while on Honeymoon in Mexico, staying at the Excellence Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos.

I'm pretty much the opposite of professional when it comes to videos, but this shakey footage was taken from our room's balcony. It was on level 3 of building 9 in the excellence club.

This was an amazing resort, and a more in depth review will follow.

Just a small update

I've been very busy planning a wedding, and all the things that come with that, like getting fit and the honeymoon. So I haven't had the chance to go any where special to write about.

I will however give a quick update on the wedding side of things.

For those familiar with Disney World, you will know that getting reservations for the restaurants you want to eat at is important. We just passed our 180 day mark, which is the magical date you can start making reservations.

We are now booked in at the following restaurants;

• Raglan Road Irish Pub
• Yak & Yeti
• Teppan Edo
• Chef Mickey's
• Sci Fi Dine In
• Les Chefs De France
• Fulton's Crab House
• Whispering Canyon Cafe
• California Grill
• Yachtsman Steakhouse

There will possibly be more added as time goes on, but they're confirmed. I will attempt to do reviews (with pics!) on each of these restaurants when the time comes... Just 6 more months! Part of me wants time to fly, the other part of me is petrified that it's coming so quickly!

Also, I've been dealing with Liberty Travel, who have gotten me a great deal on return flights to Cancun and 7 nights accommodation at the Excellence Riviera Cancun. This is part of it that I'm not torn on. I can't wait for this at all!

Actually that reminds me, I haven't given my details to Liberty Travel yet to be able to book it... Better do that tonight.

I've been trying to use Google's new GMail Voice phone call option, but it doesn't seem to want to work for me. I thought that being Australian was the problem, but I've spoken to other Aussies that are using it fine. So it must just be my computer...
